Cabernet Sauvignon is not only the foundation varietal for the greatest Bordeaux wines of the Médoc; but the wines produced of that grape are Napa’s best gift to the wine world! Perhaps overlooked is how the vine is so well-suited to a variety of terroirs in many wine regions of the world – and as important, spread across the range of pricing. Meaning? To enjoy the beauty of Cabernet, 1. it doesn’t necessitate restricting your view to Napa; and 2. it doesn’t mean you have to “take a second out on your house” to drink beautiful Cabernet! Join us for an afternoon when we look at a diversity of Cabs – comparing and contrasting wines from different regions & countries (and yes, Napa will be represented!). The wines will share modest to moderate tier in pricing. And something else… these will be wines to drink, and drink pleasurably without the need of being placed on a pedestal!
