100% Chardonnay sourced from Le Mesnil
André Clouet’s descendants took over his estate, ensuring that it remained in the family. The property had aged, but has now been modernized, and the team working to perpetuate the House of André Clouet is inspired above all by the desire to preserve the personality of its Champagnes.
Dream Vintage by Andre Clouet is dedicated to the grand vintages of Champagne. In contrast to the other wines, Dream Vintage is 100% grand cru Chardonnay sourced out of Le Mesnil. This wine is NOT an RM Champagne because Clouet trades fruit from their withholdings from another producer to get access to the Le Mesnil Fruit.
Winery Notes: The 2018 Champagne harvest benefited from a hot, dry summer, allowing the grapes to ripen to perfection. This year’s Champagnes stand out for their richness, their aromas of ripe fruit and honey, and their freshness thanks to balanced acidity. It’s a high-quality harvest with good ageing potential.
