Poggio Landi is part of a network of wineries owned by Alejandro Bulgheroni Family Vineyards, otherwise referred to as ABFV. The wineries are in the most prestigious areas of Italy, Chianti, Montalcino and Bolgheri. This network includes top wineries such as Podere Brizio, Dievole, Tenuta Meaviglia, and more. All the wineries in this stable focus on the same philosophy, producing the finest quality possible incorporating sustainability and having a low environmental impact.

The Poggio Landi estate has 75 hectares of vineyards, which skirt some of the most prestigious areas of the denomination, from the historic Montalcino vineyards in the north to those rich in character in the south. A vast surface area, guaranteeing variations in soil and exposition as well as altitudes above sea level. Every wine is the product of vineyard work aimed at maintaining balance among the wines with care taken to preserve the vitality of the soil. Spontaneous fermentation using solely indigenous yeast, is essential for expressing terroir. Refinement in large French oak casks is key to maintain the organoleptic characteristics of the grapes.
 
The Brunello di Montalcino DOCG Poggio Landi rises from a mono-varietal selection of top-choice Sangiovese grapes picked from the Poggio Landi vines growing at an altitude of 180-500 meters above sea level.
 
Aged for 38 months in French oak barrels and 6 months in bottles, the Brunello di Montalcino Poggio Landi speaks of vigor and elegance, sounding out the very characteristics that have won this wine variety worldwide fame and acclaim.

The organic Poggio Landi 2018 Brunello di Montalcino does a great job at putting bright fruit in the spotlight, and this is not something that you can always say of its peers.
