Domaine Eloy Pouilly-Fuisse Vieilles Vignes 2022
Domaine Eloy is a family-owned estate, the wines are made by Jean-Yves Eloy. Jean comes from a long history od wine growers in burgundy. He established this estate in 1987. Today the Estate extends over 40 hectares in 12 different communes. The estate has also been HVE certified since 2020. All wines from this Domaine Eloy are produced with fruit sourced from their estate withholdings. A combination of traditional wine making practices are combined with modern equipment.
Tasting Notes: Straw colored hue. An impressive bouquet of Meyer lemon florals & hazelnuts supported with a kiss of soft oak and wet stone minerality. Leads seamlessly to silky palate with harmonious fruit and floral balance & depth. Soft, clean dry finish with good palate cleansing acidity – making this a sensational wine to enjoy on its own merit or alongside of food! Easy to drink now, but the wine will take on greater weight and complexity with some additional bottle time!
